Pannalal Barupal
Pannalal Barupal (6 April 1913 – 19 May 1983) was an Indian politician, independence activist. He was member of the Lok Sabha representing Ganganagar constituency in Rajasthan state for five terms from 1952 to 1977. He was a member of the Indian National Congress. Career He was born in Bikaner and actively participated in the non-cooperation movement and in the 1942 Quit India Movement. The Government of India issued a postage stamp in his honor on 28 April 2006. Pannalal Bhattacharya
Pannalal Bhattacharya (c. 1930 – 27 March 1966) was an Indian singer of Bengali music. Most of the songs he sang were written by Ramprasad Sen and Kamalakanta Bhattacharya, both of whom were Shakta poets of Bengal. He was the younger brother of Prafulla Bhattacharya, the music director of the golden age of Bengali songs, and renowned singer Dhananjay Bhattacharya. He was eight years younger than his elder brother Dhananjay Bhattacharya. He developed a special style of singing, Shyama Sangeet, that continues to be used. He committed suicide at the age of 36. Pandit Pannalal Ghosh (; 24 July 1911 – 20 April 1960), also known as Amal Jyoti Ghosh, was an Indian flute (bansuri) player and composer. He was a disciple of Allauddin Khan, and is credited with popularizing the flute as a concert instrument in Hindustani classical music and also the "Pioneer of Indian Classical Flute". Early life Pannalal Ghosh was born on 24 July 1911 in Barisal, Bengal Presidency, British India. He was named Amal Jyoti Ghosh with Pannalal having been his nickname. His father, Akshay Kumar Ghosh, was a sitarist. Ghosh received his initial training in music from his father, learning to play the sitar. Two apocryphal incidents in his childhood are believed to have influenced Ghosh in taking up the flute. As a child he had picked up a small flute that cowherds usually played, and on the basis of the education he was receiving on the sitar from his father, he would try to play musical patterns on the flute. Sahityacharya Dr. Pandit Pannalal Jain (5 March 1911 – 9 March 2001) was a distinguished Jain scholar. Dr. Kasturchand Kasliwal has regarded him as among the 20 most distinguished of the Jain scholars of 20th century His teaching career spanned 70 years, from 1931 to 2001. Life He was the son of Gallilal and Jankibai of Parguvan, a small village in Sagar, born in 1911. He moved to Sagar with his mother after the death of his father in 1919. Pannalal studied at the famous institute in Sagar, "Sattarka Sudha Tarangini Sanskrit Pathashala", now Ganesh Varni Sanskrit Vidyalaya, founded by Ganeshprasad Varni. Pannalal Nanalal Patel (7 May 1912 – 6 April 1989) was an Indian author known for his contributions in Gujarati literature. He wrote more than 20 short story collections, such as ''Sukhdukhna Sathi'' (1940) and ''Vatrakne Kanthe'' (1952), and more than 20 social novels, such as '' Malela Jeev'' (1941), '' Manvini Bhavai'' (1947) and ''Bhangyana Bheru'' (1957), and several mythological novels.
